US Unemployment Holds At 10%, Because People Have Given Up Looking For Work
The headline that the new unemployment figures from the US show the level holding at 10% hides a concerning fact.
The figures have only reached that level because people are giving up on actively looking for work, and once that happens, they are no longer counted in the figures.
Tell The Truthiness Says ; 4000 jobs were created in November, the first increase in nearly two years. It's small, but it's a start.
