Things which would be deemed unbelievable in any election campaign don't illicit such surprise where Sarah Palin is concerned.
Governor Palin was asked a question by a third-grader, 'what does the Vice President do?', and here is her answer and comment from Keith Olbermann ;

Dragnet Treatment For Senator Craig
Despite the unprofessional conduct of some of the newscasters at MSNBC, see our previous blog for that episode, we still endorse Keith Olbermann's Countdown programme, giving the news the perfect satirical treatment with this gem.
Keep in mind while you watch this that the words of the police report have not been changed, which begs the question, how much more is Sentaor Larry Craig not revealing?
Tell The Truthiness ; Senator, the floor is yours, speak up!

War On Reality Part 18 ; Power & Responsibility On Bush's Watch, He's Caught Out, Now Get Out
Enough is enough, the one piece that was given in karma-like opposite to all that Bush and his cohorts have gotten away with, has been reversed.
Scooter Libby is getting a pardon, in all but word, though it means the same thing. There have been reports that the machiavellian shadowman, Dick Cheney, made a deal with Libby before the trial even started to assure him that he would not serve prison time.
Tell The Truthiness ; If the leadership of this once great country carries on, even until the next election, it will damage democracy at home and abroad which may never be repaired. You cannot wield all the power and take none of the responsibility, things don't work like that.

War On Reality ; Part 1
While making an unannounced visit to Bagram Air Force base in Afghanistan, a bomb, large enough to kill 20 people, including 2 US Servicemen exploded. The visitor was Vice President Dick Cheney, he had the stupidity to say '' remain calm, all's well''.
This seems to be happening more and more often, a few weeks ago Iraq Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki was stood on the steps of a government building, surrounded on all sides by security staff, guys tall enough and big enough to block out the light, while he read a statement. An explosion made all the staff round him turn their heads in shock, the PM carried on, not flinching at all and sticking to the script.
When the President and Vice-President say things are fine in Iraq ; but the Iraqi PM has got so use to the lawlessness that he doesn't even flinch, you know that someone isn't living in the same reality as everyone else.
The Truthiness Blog Says ; Take the pieces of cheese out your ears and listen to the bombs going off.

Go Big, Go Long, Go Home ; Go Blue Jays!
Pentagon Insiders have disclosed the future plan for Iraq's strategy with simple, easy to understand English terms.
The policy is thought to consist of ;
Go Big, Go Long, Go Home.
The fact that this sounds more like a campaign phrase grates uncomfortably with the date that looms large this Thanksgiving weekend.
On Sunday, 26th November 2006, the United States of America will have been in Iraq longer than been engaged in the Second World War, 1347 days. That war was different. Very different.
This invasion, this war, has not given the World a better place to move onto, the US government, led by Mr Bush still struts around, acting like the World's overgrown policeman, assuming anyone who disagrees with it is wrong or any enemy, or both.
The America People deserve better, they know, as does the World and the people of Iraq.
Even Mr Blair went as far as he could to admit in an interview that Iraq was a disaster.
President Bush, stop saying we 'only win if we stay'.
Because we all know, we only lose if you stay.
